The Purpose of the Charity Auction
At our charity auction, we are raising funds for a Servo-n mechanical ventilator (Sweden) designed for newborns weighing as little as 300 grams. This advanced life-support equipment is used in neonatal intensive care units to help save the lives of the most vulnerable babies suffering from critical respiratory failure.
£60,000

To put this into perspective
In 2022, doctors in Japan published a remarkable case study of a baby born weighing just 258 grams — about the weight of a smartphone. Thanks to advanced respiratory support and intensive care, the infant survived and was eventually discharged home.
