On November 22, 2019, the 5th ANTIKONFA — an anti-conference on internet marketing, CPA, gambling, and SEO — took place in Kyiv.
As we warned — everything that is “revealed” at ANTIKONFA stays at ANTIKONFA. Accordingly, there will be no videos of the presentations featuring anti-cases. This was once again emphasized during his presentation by one of the first speakers — Vitaliy Stetsenko, Owner of Initium Group (Arbita, Traffka, Richadvert, Ryumka, Dr.Sheberg), who, according to him, revealed far more figures during his presentation than he had originally planned.
Vitaliy gave a presentation titled “How Not to Launch a Product Offer: Losing 3 Months and More Than $15,000” and spoke about a problem faced by the vast majority of people who have already made money from traffic arbitrage and then invest it in their own offline products / affiliate programs / services. A similar anti-case was presented by the “host” of ANTIKONFA, organizer Anatoliy Shvarts. The CEO of WintEvents told the audience about the mistake of an online “newcomer” with money. After all, who among you hasn’t thought about investing money earned online into a “physical” business? Apparently, such mistakes are quite common among affiliates with money.
Inna Babich, Co-owner of GAGARIN Partners (Pokerdom), presented an anti-case from the world of gambling. The anti-case totaled $300,000: $100K for shooting a music video with high-end production, another $100K for “celebrities” available for gambling promotions, and another $100K “wasted” on CPM!
Valentin Stanishevsky, entrepreneur and public figure, explained how to invest $100,000 in a platform for posting on OLX and then switch to free Google Sheets.
One of the ANTIKONFA speakers came all the way from Sakhalin! Andrey Goryunov, owner of MoneytronBot, the first affiliate program bot, brought us an anti-case from another time zone about how he tried to create an alternative payment system. He shared mistakes from both management and development. By the way, it was this failed project that led Andrey into traffic arbitrage.
Konstantin Novofastovsky, Director of the Ukrainian representative office of MarketCall, spoke about unexpected aspects of working with key clients that led to a loss of $20K per month, using three anti-cases from the real estate industry as examples.
The anti-case by Svetlana Saliy, Co-owner of the Telegram agency Media Rhythm — “How to Launch a Reality Show on Telegram, Create Hype, Attract an Audience and... Shut Down Right Before Monetization” — sparked the audience’s interest in creating their own original storytelling Telegram channels about CPA and traffic arbitrage. We’ll see, maybe something similar will appear in our industry soon :)
ANTIKONFA 2019 is an affiliate conference in a “non-trivial” format based on three main components — anti-cases, networking, and show. The venue resembled a circus dome, a theater where, in addition to the speakers’ presentations, a cabaret show unfolded. The stage moved out and lifted performers above the audience, aerial gymnasts flew through the air, and “diamonds” rained down. Chandelier girls and cabaret girls in looks inspired by American casinos of the 1950s invited guests to take photos at the photo zone. Even one of the speakers turned his presentation into a real show. Anonymous is a top streamer whose face no one has ever seen. A gambling enthusiast who attracts up to 1,500 viewers to his streams took the stage to the song “Fantazer,” wearing a balaclava and floral prints. Anonymous’s speech was heartfelt: about why sincere involvement and love for what we do often prevent us from making big money.
The total number of guests who attended ANTIKONFA was 200. WintEvents plans to continue holding conferences in this format. The next ANTIKONFA will take place in Kyiv in the summer of 2020. Follow the announcements at https://antikonfa.com/.
