Recently, our WintEvents team was happy to open a marathon of side events in Armenia, and for the first event we chose a concept that was radically different from the usual format of "something on the bagatom". The focus was on the "Regatta on Sevan" - an event that allowed our guests to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of Armenia.

We strived to show our guests the beauty and uniqueness of Armenia. After all, events often leave little time to explore local traditions, cuisine, and iconic places. We combined three important components to create a real holiday: national flavor in the show program, and national cuisine in the catering, and chose one of the most iconic places in Armenia - Lake Sevan.

During the day, while some participants enjoyed the sailing regatta, the rest of the guests spent time on the shores of Lake Sevan. They rode horses on the lake, enjoyed the performances of a dance group, participated in a master class on drawing "Affiliates on Lake Sevan" and, of course, tasted the exquisite national cuisine.

Our catering included such dishes as khashlama and lamb on a spit, various types of lavash and dolma, as well as many other national dishes. The bar offered cocktails based on the cult Ararat brandy and Manhattan on top alcohol, and the hookah bar delighted with a variety of favorite tobaccos.

For those who took part in the regatta itself, the day was also filled with adrenaline and unforgettable moments. Lake Sevan, known for its picturesque views and crystal clear waters, was the perfect venue for the competition due to its unique winds, which reached speeds of up to 90 km/h.

These winds made the regatta dynamic and unpredictable, adding to the excitement of the race. Regardless of experience, everyone was able to test their skills and enjoy sailing under the guidance of professional skippers.
